I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Chemistry from the University of Arizona — years spent learning how the body works at a molecular level, and how the food and compounds we put into it shape everything that follows. Then perimenopause arrived, and I realized how little good information existed for women like me. Not clinical papers. Not fear-based blog posts. Real, nuanced, luxurious guidance for a woman who has spent her whole life taking care of herself and everyone else.
